Athletics Day

I went to inter-school athletics. I got my certificate for 60m sprints and for 100m sprints. I felt happy and proud. I would like to go again next year and maybe also do high-jump.

Writing - Jelly

Reflection:
What I like about my story was that I got to pick my own character and his name is Jelly. I found it easy to write a story because we had to watch a video and write about it. Next step is to use lots of describing words in my story.

Finding Unit Fraction of a Set

Reflection
I found this concept easy.
The thing that helped me most to understand was organising the circle into groups.The hardest part was knowing how to divide 30 into equal groups.
My next step is to use this concept to make equal groups for bigger numbers.

My Reflection:
I found this concept straightforward. The thing that helped me most to understand was coloured boxes and understanding what the denominator meant. My next step is to identify fractions of a set.

August character visualisation

Visualise a character by using the descriptive language to create a picture.
In this task I had to listen carefully to the description of august by his sister, via and then draw it. 
It was easy to do because i could draw what i was thinking in my head.
My next step is to make detailed pictures in my head when i read.

Reflection:
In this task I had to talk about Julian and why he was a bully.
I liked doing this because I can say my answer instead of writing it out.
Next time I will do more reasons.

The easiest past was asking question about the story.
The hardest part was making predictions. It was tricky because I didn't know what prediction meant.
